Oracle announced this week at a user group conference in California, that Oracle VM should be available for download tomorrow, Wednesday 14th of November.

Oracle VM will offer a solution to users to create and manage Virtual Machines (VMs) that exist on a same physical server but behave as independent physical servers.
Following Oracle products are already supported with Oracle VM:
Oracle Database 10gR2 and 11gR1, Oracle Application Server 10gR2 and 10gR3, Oracle Enterprise Manager 10.2.0.4, Oracle DB Berkeley 4.6, Oracle TimieSten 7.0.3.1, Oracle eBusiness Suite 11.5.10 and 12, Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise 8.4.x and 9, PeopleTools 8.49.07 and +, Oracle Siebel CRM 8.0 and Oracle Hyperion 9.3.1.

Oracle VM is a free product (support should be bought if required), and supports the following guest :
Oracle Enterprise Linux, Linux RHEL 3/4/5, Windows 2003, Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP.
Oracle VM requires a 32 or 64 bits host, with at least i686 processor-class (all Intel Pentium Pro and newer models, all AMD Athlon/Duron and newer models)
A bemol when virtualizing Windows, which runs significantly slower than it does on native hardware.
Patches and updates for Oracle VM will be available from Unbreakable Linux Network.
